Nota oficial - Corte Arbitral do Esporte atende pedido cautelar da CBSk; entidade retoma gerenciamento da modalidade

A Corte Arbitral do Esporte (CAS) emitiu, nesta terça-feira (27), decisão cautelar revogando a desfiliação da Confederação Brasileira de Skateboarding (CBSk) da World Skate. O CAS considerou que a desfiliação, agora, seria muito prejudicial dentro de todo o trabalho que envolve a preparação olímpica. Assim, a CBSk retoma o gerenciamento da modalidade e permanece filiada até a decisão final do processo.

Desde sexta-feira (23), a CBSk voltou a receber os repasses provenientes da Lei Agnelo/Piva com base em um parecer do Conselho Nacional do Esporte. A decisão foi ratificada em reunião realizada na quinta-feira (22) com representantes do Ministério do Esporte, do Comitê Olímpico do Brasil (COB) e da CBSk.

Agora, a entidade segue focada na preparação para as Olimpíadas de Paris enquanto aguarda a decisão final do julgamento da Corte Arbitral do Esporte (CAS).

Official note - Court of Arbitration for Sport grants CBSk's precautionary request; entity resumes management of the modality

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) awarded, this Tuesday (27), a precautionary decision revoking the disaffiliation of the Brazilian Skateboarding Federation (CBSk) from World Skate. The CAS considered that disaffiliation now would be very harmful to all the work involved in Olympic preparation. Thus, CBSk remains affiliated until the final decision of the process.

Since Friday (23), CBSk has once again received transfers from the Agnelo/Piva Law based on an opinion from the National Sports Council. The decision was ratified in a meeting held on Thursday (22) with representatives from the Ministry of Sports, the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) and CBSk.

Now, the entity remains focused on preparing for the Paris Olympics while awaiting the final decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
